Study enrolment and admission to the Master's degree courses
Study enrolment:
It is possible to start a Master's degree course in both the summer semester (April) and the winter semester (October). The general deadlines for enrolment to degree courses without admission restrictions apply to students with German educational backgrounds. International students must apply via the International Office.
Admission requirements:
Admission to the Master's degree courses in Linguistic Diversity (LaDY) and Culture-Interculturality-Literature (KIL) generally requires a first undergraduate degree in one of the languages that can be chosen as a specialisation. For entrants from other subject areas with adequate prior knowledge, however, there is also the possibility of special admission (with or without conditions). Under certain conditions, it is also possible to enrol before completing the BA degree course.
Important information on this can also be found on the degree course pages: FAQ's LaDy [de], FAQ's KIL [de]). Students from abroad can also obtain additional information on admission modalities here).
