Self-service portal (HIS)

The HIS portal is primarily for information on and registration for classes and exams. It contains course descriptions, times, place, and contact details of the teacher/professor. In addition, there are various functions, e.g. for checking marks/grades online, for printing certificates and transcripts of records, or finding rooms and staff.

Groupware

The Groupware serves as a communication tool for members of the university community. For instance, teaching staff use it to inform their students about homework or cancellations. Students should check their Groupware account regularly for new emails. Alternatively, it is possible to activate automatic forwarding of messages to a private email address to ensure you don't miss out on something.

Learning platform Moodle

Moodle is a learning platform for staff and students to share information and class materials. Online discussion formats and other electronic functions complement the traditional classroom. The Chair of Anglophone Literature and Culture also has a literary wiki project.

With sufficient advance notice, our Erasmus Coordinator will be pleased to provide help and advice to anyone planning a period of study abroad. In addition, regular international teaching exchanges help to enrich the range of courses on offer in Greifswald.
